Hello all.... I'm John and I'm a Fettaholic. Have been a lurker here for a while and have been on the RPF for a few years (as JangoJohn). Have been a Star Wars fan since forever it seems.... was 6 when I saw it in 1977.
Still have all the stuff I collected back then (wish I would've kept that damn early bird special that I'm sure many of us got for X-Mas in '77 though), but didn't really focus on Boba Fett till the Special Ed's came out in '97. Had always thought he was the coolest character in the SW Universe, but only had two items at the time (my original Fett action figure and the original 12") Since then I went nuts collecting everything I saw having to do with B. Fett.... and am now at over 200 items and counting (everything from figures, statues, comics, books, etc.). The wife finally let me have a full room to display everything when we bought our house a couple of years ago.
After having picked up a set of armor pieces from Mark Bradley about 8 years ago, I finally decided to get off my butt to try to get my costume completed. Thanks to Richies Armor for my bucket re-paint and several other items, I spent about three weeks straight working on it to try to get it wearable by Halloween last year. I favor the ESB Fett over Jedi, but my costume ended up a combination of both. I know it's not perfect, but I'm happy with it.... still need to dirty it up and plan on tweaking it every now and then. Don't judge too harshly.....
