Range finder Issue

Hi Folks,

I have a few problems with my Range finder on my helmet , the first issue is... i have a Hyperdyne range finder kit so that it moves up and down , but i can't seem to find a servo horn long enough to go from the servo to the range stalk.

I have a Resin one would i be better to upgrade to a metal range finder stalk for a better result?

Secondly and i am hoping that when the first issue s solved it might help solve this one too , when i did a trail run of the hyperdyne kit holding the servo at 90 degrees the range finder didn't seem to go all the way down , any ideas how i could solve this?
