Yeah, thats a pretty popular theory...one that I happen to agree with. HOWEVER, the shiny side of the tacket twill (the vest side) does need to be weathered substantially as well, or it is actually brighter than the reverse side when photographed!!!! It reflects light so well in its unweathered state, that it lights up like reflective tape!!!! Greys and browns with an airbrush work well, then hit it with Dullcoat.
