I wasn't sure if this should go in the Sarlaac pit or Prop-building section, but here's my question. (Mods move this if you need to).:confused

This is for the airbrushers out there. I've got a basic, dual-action internal mix airbrush. I'm running it at about 30 psi. I've bought my paint (Tamiya acrylics) and wanted to know how much I should thin them. I'm going to be painting my sintra body armor.

Thanks for your tips, everyone. :cheers

This is the way it should be done and i highly recommend Tamiya acrylic thinner. Other thinners tend to not work as well

Yeah, milky is good. Thinning acrylic with water does theoretically work, but I wouldn't recommend it. A good quality thinner will help ensure proper flow, will keep your brush from getting gunky, and helps the paint do down evenly.
