here is what I have used to make the spikes, 2 aluminium rods (don't know how to describe them:D) and a sheet of aluminium to make the stand (don't know how to describe it:D)...drilled and glued...
tell me what you think...
THX!

Nice work Chewiepal! Every part of your costume has turned out really great. I wish I had the frabrication skills you have. I gotta do toe spikes myself now.
I hope they turn out as good as yours.

I'm a little let to this thread. (Better late, than never!) Those look great!

How did you make the black lines (the piping) on your boots?

Hi!! IsThatGuy, the piping was made with a black elastic cord glued to the boots...
btw, I find some pics of the boots, before I convert them....

Thanks! I was looking for a nice pair of boots with a square toe on that auction site- but no such luck...I will keep up the search!

thanks Shabad.........maybe someday will finish this...and still will be young enough to wear it......jeje
Still be young enought to wear it...? You can never get to old for Star Wars or costuming! ;)

I find this pair and was a happy finding...:) only 15€...
keep the search, surely you will find some goodies...
and really, don't know why, but I don't fit anymore in my ewok costume... :)

chewiepal- what are the red lines around the armor in the picture of your Boba Fett? Looks great otherwise! And you'll get it done! You may be the only Boba Fett who needs a cane, but you'll finish it. =)

Phil

a vibro-cane can be still dangerous...jeje
the red lines are there cause I have sanded the edges cause I don't like how I make them in the first time...when I have some time, I'll mach the armour color...
THNX AGAIN!
