Yes RLM 62 is also refered to as "grun", RLM 82 is sometimes refered to as "dunklegrun". Now I'm not up on my German lingo, but I believe "grun " translates into green, "dunkle grun" translates into dark green, and panzer olivegrun translates into panzer olive green. I've seen both lables on testers paints before. As you can see from the posts above, there are many theories as to what is the best way to go with the ESB colors. Originally, I did my hemet, gauntlets and Jp with POG, however I had to heavily mist the JP & gauntlets with light grey to get the contrast right with the bucket. Eventually, I decided to paint my gauntlets with RLM 62 or "grun" To be honest, I couldn't even tell that they were repainted,as weathered POG looks very similar to RLM 62. However, using rlm 62 is much easier, as it looks really good without a ton of weathering. My JP is still POG base with heavy grey misting, but eventually I'm gonna repaint it with RLM 62, as I believe that is the correct color. For the record, the RLM 62 comes recommended by RS, (THanx again Lee
)Do what looks right to you. In any event, whichever route you choose, the colors are very close. As far as acrylic vs. enamel, I guess I always use enamel as its more durable, but I have used both, and they look almost identicle in color to me. Here are a few pics so you can see how the colors look on my suit
