Glove Material...?

Maybe you know this already, and maybe you don't but you can get the tackle twill coated for heat sealing/adhering. Tackle twill is the material used to make letters and numbers of professional jersey. Sewing in the stitch line around the gloves would be much easier without having to worry about losing the alignment and without having to use pins to hold it in place. Your stitching would only be aesthetic in that case. Look into
