Paint for shoes/leather?

How can I paint some boots/shoes so that the paint won't crack? Is there a specific kind of paint for footwear/leather?

Thanks

Dan

use a leather deglazer first to remove the sheen. It's mostly acetone but I've never tried using pure acetone. There are a few different brands of leather paint. Nu-life is one. Spray the boots in several very fine layers. It usually takes 1 1/2 cans to cover a pair of boots. I've painted several boots for folks both TK and Zam. The original tk boots were black painted white.
