Cool! I didn't expect the announcement of this for a while. I had heard MR was going to announce a new product on 11 April. I wonder if this was it.

From the first pic it doesn't look like it has enough rust color to it.

I've been talking to a guy in MR about this gun and he suggested you join their collectors club -

you get discounts and first crack at this item.

about $60.00 or so. Plus you get a scaled lightsaber hilt.

It says on the left that its not the finished product, but the "ORIGINAL PROP the replica is based on" So whatcha talk'n about Willis? It must be perfect unless that's a Fan made blaster MR is copying?

If you read the fine print by the pic it says that the final item is not pictured. It could look way different.

the guy said it was from the real prop.

Yes it will be an exact replica as the one used in the movie. I have seen the prototype. Sweeeeet!! You will be extremely happy with it. Thanks!

Sincerely,

I'd much rather obtain a Sci-Fire blaster then ever give MR a cent of my money again. *Mutter mutter......Stupid clone helmet....mutter..mutter.*

i'm sure it will be great, but i don't think i'd want to troop with one. one of our TKs carries his MR blaster with him, and i don't know how he does it.

i'll be keeping an eye out though... if it comes down a bit in price from the 579 tag i may go for it.

Like the Fett helmet, ther rifle was reel scanned so unless they messed with it much, it should be pretty nice. Time and real pics will tell...

As good as I think that looks, I am going to pass. The price is just too much for me. I do like their products and have 3 of the Force FX Sabers, but I can't justify almost $600.00 for a blaster. That's just my opinion.

It's probably the lighting in the photograph washing out the colors some, because the promo photograph is the real ROTJ Fett rifle that was on display at MoM.

Agreed! Plus I have one from Sci-Fire and its dead on!

i wonder if the scope if even a real one. now that i look at it. how come the front piece of the scope doesnt look like a ASI? its dosent have that decrease in size from the end peice to the actual scope structure.

ESB helmet.....ROTJ rifle....yeah, that makes sense:confused I guess if the movies weren't consistent, why should licensed replicas be:lol:

I'll stick with my HS beauty 'til that perfect original blued Webley comes my way8)
