Sandtrooper lance

Hello all,
Im looking to build a sandtrooper lance from some sturdy materials, it has to double as a walking stick for me. Anyone know of a place to look for detailed photos of the lance or ideas on how to make one and the parts, items used?

i would use metal pipe and sculpt the end peice, i bought a 5 foot long peice of thin metal pipe at lowes for like 5 bucks.
