I'm going to start making an Iron Man suit, and I don't know whether to use ABS or Sintra for the armor. After some research, I thought that Sintra was a much easier and simpler way of molding armor pieces over making molds and using casting resin, but I've read elsewhere that Sintra tends to deform in hot weather and has to be remolded frequently, especially in summer-time. I don't know as much about ABS, except where I've seen it sold as piping at Lowes, and from that, it looks as if it would be hard to work with as a sheet.
In terms of ease of use and longevity, which one would be better?
Thanks all!
