Since I have already done a Jet Pack paintjob thread,
http://www.thedentedhelmet.com/showthread.php?t=20013
I thought I'd do a Gauntlet paintjob thread.
i will keep you updated as I progress with the painting.
I will list what paints I use & how I do what I do (just like the Jet Pack thread)
The gauntlets I have for painting are Man Of War (new version)
This is a commission job for a member here (I'll let him say who he is)
Since this is not a review thread,I'll try not to give my opinion on the gauntlets themselves
but I will post a few facts about them;
They come already assembled with hinges & velcro
They have the Dental Expander (not a cast of a real one) and the buttons on the flamethrower molded in.
The flamethrower is enclosed , so adding real buttons might not be possible
The flamethrower also has the tips molded in & attached
The switch on the right side of the left gauntlet is also molded in
The right gauntlet has indentations for where the darts and small switches should go
The hose connections are not metal , but are attached to the right gauntlet
The Missile feels hollow & is somewhat oblong and is removable
The Missile is secured using a plastic bolt & nut
The calculator pad comes with the set & appears to be a cast of the real deal
Ok, on to the pics (this is exactly how they come , straight out of the box)
