Well-Known Hunter
A few months ago my son stated he wanted to put together a suit for C7. I couldn't say "no" due to it being his last year in high school and possibly leaving the nest soon.
So in order to make this happen HUGE THANKS go out to: Collector for the already painted Bobamaker armor and jp with Fettronics display, Taco ammo belt, and CA boots with Mojo spikes. Jediparamedic for the MR helmet we are temporarily using until a less collectible option can be found. Woodman for the girth belt, cape, and braids. Batninja for the vest and neck. Starchild for the Darkside missile. Darkside for the aluminum collar studs. RKD for the calc pad and expander. MOW for the flight suit. Saintnasty for the gloves. Fullmetalfett for the divers buckle. Sci-Fire for the blaster.
I hesitate in revealing I incorporated a few Jango assembly techniques by attaching the armor via two different sizes of Tandy snaps, as well as the girth belt to the cod via three large Tandy snaps. In addition, the gauntlets are my own design and painted by Sleepalot.
We began this project shooting for an SE version, but it seems to have ended in being closer to an AoSW attempt. This was only phase 1, so we'll continue to dial in the accuracy as time and $ allows.
We also left C7 with our first set of upgrades: aluminum knee darts and jetpack thruster parts thanks to Darkside.
All in all my son had a blast and it was a good feeling to see him enjoying himself so much and feeling a part of something larger...the love of Boba Fett.
