And what the heck is the deal with all the Boba bashing in the BOBA Helmets forum?!? Get back to yer own damn forum ya bunch of headless freaks!
I started the thread here, because I figured you Boba fanatics might be interested in a dented versin of this for your little ones. Oh well, I guess not. I guess Jangos love their little ones more than Bobas do.
The model is nearly finished. Watch for new pics later today. :love
Sorry, but the update will have to wait - real life situations come first. Let me just say that I only have one more detail to finish before this thing is sealed. When that's done, I'll post the pics.
Alas, the long overdue update! The helmet and earpiece models are almost done. I just need to do a little tweeking here and there. The earpieces are seperate, just taped on for referance. This is about 3/4 scale of the one on the right.
I still need to make the rangefinder. The main helmet mold will bolt together in three sections: front, back, and dome. Once the mold is finished, before I remove it from the model, I will remove the dome section of the mold and put the dent into the model. Then, I will run a mold of the dented dome. The mold will now have two seperate, interchangable dome sections. By switching from one to the other, I can run dented or undented helmets from the same mold.
Great job JD!!!
I haven't had much time to post but I think this is an awesome idea.
By the way, I can never thank you enough for teaching me how to work with fiberglass and being patient with me through the process, but here's another one. . .THANK YOU
I have GOT to have one of those helmets for a little buddy of mine! He was totally enthralled with my trooper. I can't imagine how ecstatic he'd be to have a Fett helmet that actually FIT him!
