Howdy y'all! I ain't sure if this here is where I should be posting this, but I am buying a piece from someone on the forums and to avoid scams I would like to know more about third party erm...booking? or..holding? not sure what it's even called hah. Basically I want the guy to get payed for his hard work, but I dont want to pay him directly just in case he takes the money and runs because there's nothing I'd be able to do about that. Any suggestions?

Just make sure its a trusted member with good feedback and use paypal. And if it is a custom job be very patient people have regular jobs.

These guys are reputable, I'm newer to the forums but I recognize the vendors. Just like ebay, there's stats on them such as how long they've been on the forums and other comments from members. Then of course they use PayPal most often. PayPal has resolution centers to dispute un-delivered goods. Hope this helps.
