Greetings TDH People!
As i now have gotten my Asok Budget CC helmet i thought i would make a progress thread on the prep & paint.
This is my first helmet so i hope that people are willing to point out tips and tricks along the way.
Anyway i have trimmed the helmet with my Dremel tool ,sanded it a bit and buffed it with steel-wool(wire wool?) 0000.
I found the Dremel very easy to use (it almost cut the material like butter), and i love how the CC surface looks when buffed.
This is how it looks so far:
Unfortunately there seems to be a lot of small bubbles of resin along the edges of my helmet, does anyone know of a way to remove them without damaging the clear coat ? (other then using a Dremel and risk scratching it)
