Ok, here is my step by step guide on how I painted up my Mojo/Volkerc sidearm, first off let me say this is as good as it gets in terms of replica pieces, the time and effort spent putting this project together is instantly apparent when you take this thing out of the box so my hats off to both Gav and to Volkerc, you guys nailed it
The first thing I did with this is to address a few tiny, and I mean tiny, imperfections in the body, there were a couple of small air holes which with a small amount of Isopon p38/Bondo were easily fixed, I also took the time to sand down the base off the hand-grip to the correct contour, which curves up slightly from back to front As the 2nd picture shows I then hit the whole thing with another light coat of primer and headed out to find a base red I was happy with
More to come....
