Protype flight suit color

I haven't done any fabric dying before so I thought I would do some test runs to see if I could find the best method to get the closest color to Jango's suit. This is the first one so far. I plan to do another soon. I would apperciate any thoughts or suggestions. Such as if this is too dark or too light or just simply way off. Which will hopefully give me a better direction to go for when I am ready to actually do my suit.

A little too "bright" purple.

I agree,from the photo it does appear to be to bright.Maybe when you weather your suit it will darken up some.

It actually looks darker in person, but I am going to attempt another method to see how that turns out. What can I use to weather my suit?
