hey every body this is my first post to TDH I am working on my first mando costume it will be a custom. But the side arms I have are from my sith bounty hunter costume. They are two GI Joe Switch Fire guns painted black with customs holsters to allow them to attach directly to my legs.
No pictures at the moment, cause I still need one more scope and a barrel, but I carry a modified Wookiee bowcaster (OT style, not ROTS).
Still debating a sidearm...maybe some Jodo Kast style grenades.
Yes, those are the ones. I've read the tutorial on HVM a bunch of times, just never gotten around to building any.
IIRC, you don't take your sidearm out, right? I have a water gun that looks great in the holster, but not so great out of it. Maybe if I just leave it in there with the grenades covering most of it, it'll look alright.

Jay..
Ya mean like these?
If so, let me know, I have the tutorial for them online.
When I had the holster made for my gun, I had RA sew / rivet those three loops onto the holster. They are made of the same leather the holster is. In order to get a correct fit, I had to send him the pistol, and one of my grenades, so he could get the measurements right. The loops are snug enough to keep the grenades in during a long day of trooping, but loose enough to where the paint won`t scratch off when you put them in and out of the loops.
Perfectly perfect, exactly what I wanted to know.
I'll let you know how the assembly goes.

I am also adding in the nerf N-Strike Firefly Painted of course. I am not painting the barles though so you can still see the flash when I pull the trigger.
