ESB Jetpack Buildup

So I've been trying out some new techniques lately. I've been using rubber cement as a masking agent. It works pretty well. Started of with Silver auto paint, applied the rubber cement and then began painting with Rustoleum Spruce Green and krylon black misted at the same time. When that was done I simply rub off the areas with rubber cement and it give me a nice torn look. Some spots I rub it with 320 sandpaper which wipes off the green and reveals the silver and makes some black dirty marks. You can see that on the right tank top as an example

I have yet to apply the coat of dust and some more black highlights but here's what I have so far. Thought I'd share.
