Flight Suit

My wife has (clears throat) "volunteered" to make the flight suit for me. We have looked at several designs on this site. But, one question remains.... What type of material should we use? 100% cotton, cotton/poly blend? ect? Any recomendations?

Buttons vs Zipper vs Velcro? Back hatch (bathroom)?
