Ok i got a couple of questions.

1. I want topaint it Metallic Bronze and Black. Do i just get metallic spray paint to do it? And do i need to put something on for it to stick.

2. Is there any certain place to get padding for the inside o it won't wiggle?

3. Is there any plce i can get a voice amplifier?

Basically the most important thing is i want to know how to paint it.

Thanks!

Basic painting tips are littered all over this site. :)
you'll want some primer paint, maybe a few layers, sand it uber smooth. then apply your top coats, sand those really smooth and repeat as you want... I'm not sure how a clear coat will react to a metallic color paint though.

ok thanks...So i should first apply the bronze and black paint and then do a primer coat..and then repeat that a couple of times?

Thank you!

Ok, its still a little confusing...The helmet i have is already painted i just need to repaint it. Should i put paint tape on the blue part (this is a jango) and spray paint the silver part?

Any more tips?

What kind of helmet is it? Before you start to paint you should sand the helmet. Then use the primer. Sand that smooth and then if you want battle damage spray a couple of coats of silver. Then tape off some scrapes and scratches. Then if you want different colors under your top color spray that on. Take the tape off then tape off the same scratches only a little bigger this time so the silver and the first color of paint shows a little. This is called layering. After you are done with the base colors now do the trim. That is how I did mine and it work great.Click here to see my progress pics. Hope this helps:D

It is a Rubies.

My Actor is 5'11" 185 pounds does anyone with a Rubies know if this will fit him and look right?

And is it Normal to have to put padding in the helmet.

HI there...

I just finished my helmet (DP95) and had little experience painting. First, I did a complete job of sanding the helmet with 320 grit sand paper. I made it nice a smooth. I then primed the entire helmet with Rustoleum grey auto primer. Again, I sanded with 320 grit sand paper. I used both air brush paints and rustoleum spray cans. My personal opinion is that the airbrush paints are much easier to work with. Be patient. It took me probably close to 80-100 hours to finish the bucket completely.

If you need more information, feel free to PM me :)
Good luck, its loads of fun :)
