Greetings all!

Looking forward to learning more about building this costume. I am hoping to sew together the flak vest and flight suit - because of my slender build it's sometimes difficult to find specialty items like this in my size, and it would be nice to include my girlfriend who sews in this project a bit.

I'm aware Simplicity carries a pattern that is similar to the flight suit - do any of you have experience using that (Simplicity 8722), and if so, what kinds of alterations did you need to make?

If there is a more accurate pattern for the vest/suit, I would love to know where to find it.
