Marco Enterprises Boba Fett costume review and modification

Alrighty, so the final piece to the puzzle, the jetpack! So as you can see, this is more or less a vacuformed and plastic sheet made item.
The details are soft and somewhat wrong, but once again we are dealing with an item made 30+ years ago. So for the time differential, I'd say it's pretty darn close. It's a little undersized I believe, clocking in at under 13 inches wide.
You can see the rocket has a seam line on both sides, and soft detail but overall shape is good. Once again. This will serve beautifully as a stylized animated version!
It also has some electronics, a light up beacon with a 4 AA pack inside. The entire inside is hollow and is billed as being able to put a propane system in it to blow out vapor from the rocket nozzles.
Overall it's pretty sturdy, it screws together and the thrusters and rocket screw into the body.
It comes with a harness that im not sure how it quite works but ill figure it out, it should be noted that it does have a seperare piece near the bottom inside to grab onto a belt, keeping the bottom secure as well.
The paint job is a simple green layered paint job with silver damage exposed. I plan on sanding it down and repainting it in the holiday colors!

So just like everything else, a bit undersized, stylized, but hey, it's a full size mostly built jetpack.

So for a little money, I have a perfectly usable, stylized ( for a custom Mando or my purposes, a Holiday version Fett) jumpsuit, vest, gauntlets, all armor parts with chest electronics, jetpack with beacon electronics, side hip bags, rope belt, and knees!

I could potentially repaint the helmet and get it to look decent, but I think I will go ahead and use my Fettpridev2 helmet I got from another member.
I hope some of yall enjoyed this trip down memory lane or that this gave you some more info to go off of. I believe this suit has its place in the Boba Fett costume history and hopefully Art Andrews will agree!

Ya man that thing is pretty awesome being as old as it is!!

Totally, I never had any of his stuff when it was out, but I knew of it. It's fun just to see what it looks like bc back in the day, this was THE Boba Fett suit to have. Now comparing it to my man of war gauntlets, Fettpride Helmet and other modern accessories, man, what a loooooong way we have come. It's mind blowing.
Still, a fun piece of Star Wars prop history to have, like I said. I'm going to leave the helmet as is to be a collectors piece in the history of the Fett Helmet.
Also, if Art Andrews wants one, Marco is selling just the helmet as well. It would be a nice addition to his collection of all Boba Fett helmet props.

I sent off for his catalog in 1982. This is when I decided to build Boba Fett one day.
