How to make a Helmet Mould?

I am doing some research on making my first custom mando and I am wondering if it would be better to just buy a helmet from someone and paint it myself or somehow make a mould that I could make multiple helmets with. I have no experience with either and was wondering what the process would be for making a mould of a helmet.

It depends if u wanna have a cheap helmet or not, and how precise u want i saw real pretty results with pepakura and fiberglass( u can see on you tube ecc) .They need a lot of time of work but they are cheap. Or u can buy a rough helmet and paint that's better !
