Been awhile - What exactly do I have here?

Bought many moons ago, but I can't remember any of my Boba history. Took a break from my proping for a few years to pursue a couple other hobbies, but getting back in. Anything worth having (working with) or just historical curiosity? Many thanks in advance for any info!

That's an original fettpride helmet, not the premium but the standard one, which is based on a MR standard Fett helmet. It's not the best helmet, but it's a really good base.

The paints are Humbrol. Not the best paints (nowadays Archive-X are better) but you can paint a good helmet with those. Some numbers may have been updated since then, you would have to check the last terminalfettler paint threads.

Whew, paint is pricey these days! The price we pay for perfection! lol

That paint is expensive because it was matched to the old 1976 Floquil line. You can still paint an amazing helmet with Tamiya paints, as well as Humbrol, Vallejo, PollyScale/Testors.

Since what I have is MR derived and MR was from the PP3, would mine be best for a PP3 paint up or does it matter?

Also I can't seem to find the current Humbrol paint numbers to see if I need to buy more. Anyone able to point me to a link? I'll be using Archive X paints for another helmet and my Falcon kit down the road.

Aggreed! The thing I'd like to throw in however... what about a PP1 eyes helmet? I really do love the design....

I'm not 100% sure if anything changed... I think not. So yes, the same colours for both

Its fine for whatever really... Its not great since they made it symmetrical.
