Zuckuss, Boba Fett & Bossk
Bounty Hunters? We don't need those scum...
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...s/IMG_3171.jpg
Hey Hunters,
Last month, I placed a new F/S thread in the Cargo Hold for anyone interested in becoming Zuckuss. Yes, that's right, one of the 5 other Bounty Hunters that was present in Vader's Star Destroyer bridge. However, what started out as a For Sale thread, has digressed a little with the ongoing work being done by moi on his suit's built and has WIP pics in the thread. So rather than digress too much from the original thread, I decided that it would be a lot more appropriate to have it posted here.
With that said, here is the story... The initial suit was conceived, sculpted, created and built for my bud who's looking to join the 501st. Plaster molds were created from the clay sculpts and once finished, sat unused till recently...
So here it is... Today's work progress on the 'belt' and 'V' harness:-
Handstitching the nylon for the slide loop:

We decided to go with craft form for the belt as we have a lot of it here and it's easily painted. Due to the thickness of the belt, I decided to use 2 nylon belts to 'support' the craft foam belt:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...s/DSC00017.jpg
For the 'V' straps across the chest, over the shoulders and down the back, I used just one nylon strap:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...s/DSC00016.jpg
FYI, these nylon straps will be glued down to the craft foam.
Stitching the 'V' straps onto the front waist belt:

Prep for glueing down the straps...

The rear pouch will be glued down half partially, with the other half providing a 'cover' to hide the plastic rear buckles:

More to follow...
Work that was done over the past 2 weeks from before:
Mask with 'oxy' bottle:

Re: Zuckuss In Da House...very soon anyways.
Thanks Hunters! It's always fun working on a new project. ;)
Anyhow, just an update on what was just done since my last post...all pics were taken on the actual person who will be using the suit [my good bud Edwin :thumbsup], so everything done so far was build around his frame.
Stitched up the rest of the nylon V/H harness for my bud before glueing the craft foam on...This across back will serve two purposes [one is to support the backpack, the other is to hold the V straps together so as they won't slip off and show in public...:D]:

With the Backpack on:

The rear buckle attachment, minus the pouches:

The same, with the pouches glued on:

Test-fit for my bud and placement of the front skirt/shield/pouch:

Backview with the hose attachment under the skirt/shield:

The tube that will hold both 'latex' pipes under the skirt/shield:

That's it for now...enjoy.

Tim.

For the robe, we used pleather, after measuring and cutting to fit the wearer, based off the design seen in the movie and Koto model. For the harness, that's a mixture of think nylon and soft foam. The nylon was cut, measured and first used to 'create' a fitted harness, with some width allowance for the 'thinkness' seen on the correct suit. Then the soft foam was cut and glued onto the base nylon harness and painted.

This is great. You say that you are building for a friend? You must be the greatest friend ever. How many hours has this taken?
