Hello all,

Been working on the wife's boushh
IMG_0905.jpg

Since this photo got boots and gloves.

Already have bandolieer but need to redo for length.

The main thing is the staff or thermal det.
Information on these two items is hard to come by and any help would be appreciated.
Already on Boushh builders group and BHG.

Cheers Joe

Congrats mate! That's a nice costume. However, I would consider changing the glossy fabric you have chosen for the shirt. Oh, and I would paint in a darker brown color the helmet and shoulder armor.
I don't have any staff or thermal det references :( Sorry.

Yea I was thinking of changing the colour of the shoulder armour. Just doesn't look right.

WOW! Lookin good! Where did you get the shoulder armor? I'm building mine right now. Still working on the helmet. The pants are fantastic! Love the accurate scorch marks on the helmet. Great build

I got the armour from the same guy that did the helmet.

He weathered it and everything.

Got all the contacts over on the boushh builders group forum.

Joe just found these....

Hi there. My first post on the main RL site! I've taken my first step into a larger world

My Dad & I made my Boussh weapon/pike/staff...whatever it's called!

It's difficult to find good reference pictures of it and the ones made by fans/costumers tend to differ from each other. All of the parts can be bought from DIY stores and it took about 2 weeks to make.

We bought a piece of copper tubing which we cut into three pieces- the main long middle part, and two smaller lengths for the top and bottom. We then put some screw-type fixings onto the ends so they could all be screwed together. This makes it easy to transport and it fits into a rifle bag nicely.

It looks like you can put something decent looking together out of plumbing bits and pipe.
