IG-88 IG-88 original head - value?

A good friend of mine has an original IG-88 head, it's an old jet engine combustion can and wants to trade for it, about $400 of value, no idea what it's worth, but looks really cool and the things he wants to trade for are collectibles I can live without... Just wondering if anyone knows what the original piece is worth? I guess that's up for debate in itself, but any ideas....

In a quick search, it seems the combustion can is similar, though not the actual IG-88 head part...





The original is a Rolls Royce Nene engine flame tube from the jet exhaust which was used to make the classic Star Wars character's head.

The one my friend has described as a combustion can from 1947 English Jet engine aircraft.

The combustion chamber is NOT from the Nene - you are looking for a Gloucester Meteor chamber. If you are still looking let me know I may be able to hook you up with someone who has one available.
