Boushh Project

Hey all,

Here is another project I am working on. This costume will be for my wife. It is still and progress and REALLY time consuming. I will post more pics as I progress.

Well done buddy!! Keep at it though, the preliminery build can be time consuming but it's all fun after that!! :)

:D Great start :thumbsup, i started the boushh project for my other half about two years ago but sadly the fett took over, sold my lid on fleabay, :doh...error.

keep this thread going though buddy, nice to see a boushh progress thread again.

I have some of the model parts for the greebs, let me know if you need them, will be more than happy to help out.

I have the Harrier parts and might be able to get a hold of the rest of them as well. :cheers

You guys absolutely amaze me! I have no idea how you use the pc to print this out and then to glass or bog it all up is awesome to watch. You truly have skilled fingers and mind mate!

I know I'm a bit of a noob here and this question probably has been asked allot but, where do you get / find / download / request these papercraft, pep? layouts and how do they do it?

can anyone direct me to a website or person or thread to help me?

I really want to try one of these lids and dont know where to start.

any help is greatly appreciated.

btw that Boushh lid looks awesome cant wait to see it glassed up....

It looks great buddy, you're off to a great start on it. Though one thing, that sensor/visor looking thing that sits just above the actual visor is too high up. It needs to be a little lower down so it's more centered on that plate it fixes to.

Can't wait to see more of this mate. :)

So while I am waiting for more fett paints to arrived, I figured I would start to fiberglass this thing...

1) Outside is coated in resin...

Quick question though, Do you find that the resin makes the card/paper sag atall, or have you just painted a thin layer to get the regidity?

I just used a very thin layer so I could manage the helmet when using the fiberglass. Actually, the helmet was sturdy enough that I could place it upside and work with it without it losing it's shape.

Glad to see you're making good progress mate. It's coming along really well from what I can see. ;)

wow your skills on this outfit is really cool. Can't wait to see it finished. :jet pack
