So with myself building a Fett costume my wife needs one too. Decided to do the couples thing and go with Boushh.

I could not find any plans for the helmet, so decided to just make my own. Took some reference photos and put them in photoshop. Did some research on deapth and width and created my own plans drafting them out onto paper.

Here is my progress so far. I think this may work!!

Ya Im hoping to make some pdf templates once I work out some bugs. I'm discovering some interesting challenges with lining everything up. I've already had to break it apart and readjust it once, warping my sintra a bit. So now I know the changes I nee to make.

Yep definitely take 2. Tried to do some tweaking, woops....:facepalm


Well I now know some new things, hope my new front will be better. I may just scrap this one and start fresh, I see some things I can simplify, and it will be better in the end.

It's a learning process I'm sure, I am scratch building my second Fett helmet, even with the templates done by someone else it's still hard to nail the look.

Well I finally got around to recreating my plan. Had to do a bunch of tweaking to my original idea.
Got all the pieces cut out. This build will take about a 3' by 4' section of 3mm( 1/8th inch) Sintra or PVC bord. That is more than My armor plates and gauntlets for my boba build took.
I have the helmet divided into 3 chunks. The top, core and nose. I am hoping to complete each separate and then bring them together. I made a cardboard mold to bend the core around, I think a wood one would be way better.

Sorry for the delay on this, I just moved to a new state, new job, and living out of boxes. I am hoping that I will be able to continue where I left off some time this week or next.
