Bo Katan What I've been toying with the past couple weeks.... (Bo Katan)

Hey all. It's been a good while since I posted here. I just haven't really had time to do a whole lot of anything "fun" lately. But anyway... I decided I wanted to try and get a Bo Katan costume together for my wife and I've had some luck with pepakura but couldn't find any templates for anything but the helmet. So I figured I'd just give it a crack myself. Here are my 3D pics so far. Now I just have to finish unfolding everything. What do you think?

Welcome back! Those 3D images are looking really good! Can't wait to see the unfolded files and some happy builders using your work! Keep up the great job!

One option is to ZIP the files and add them as attachments. Files posted on file sharing sites are deleted after a period of time and you must re-upload them again; and to make things harder, the 4shared site ask you to register to download the files. So, I say add them as attachments.

Really?! Back when I started getting stuff there I never had to register until I started uploading. They have never deleted anything on me though. They must have changed it since then. I'll zip 'em and attach 'em.

Here is the Helmet. Enjoy.

I just realized that I forgot to turn on the edge ID in the files posted earlier. That has been corrected. If you downloaded any of them before now you will have to turn them on under the 2D menu in pep viewer or just re-download them. Sorry I had a brain fart.

Gauntlets! I made the darts, blasters, and the blade separate so that you could make them individually, or make them from other media, and the blade could be "retractable" or fixed. I am also uploading these to 4shared if you would rather acquire them there. You should be able to find them fairly easily by looking for my name.

Shin Boots and Thighs! The thigh armor holsters in the pep file have the back side as a separate part but I have added tabs so that it may be attached once every thing else is assembled. The holsters have been designed to accommodate the pepakura blasters that I've seen floating around out there.

Last but not least here is my version of the jet pack. I know there are others out there but I made my own. It will be by far the most difficult build here. It has a notch in it that fits on the back armor for attachment but could easily be built without it. Some other pertinent info for these files is, I based them around a small/medium frame at 5 ft 4 in (162.56 cm). You may have to adjust the scale for your particular body type and height but that can be done in the pepakura program.

Again, please share your progress if you should build any of these. If in a thread of your own please be sure to drop a link here. Most importantly... Have fun!

Would you have any objection to me converting your PDO into 3DS files and then converting them into printable STLs so they could be printed on a 3D printer? I usually have to do a fair bit of modification to pepakura models before I can print them usually its just adding some thickness to the faces.

Excellent work, thank you very much for sharing it. (y)

Best regards from Argentina...

PS: now I had to persuade my girlfriend to be Bo-Katan ;)

I don't really see what it would hurt. As long as they are available for all to use... or at least me anyway;)
