Thank you for the compliments! I will be trooping as Bo for the first time this weekend. I will be sure to post up some pics of the event.

Very nice work!

Very nice work yourself! I love my belt! Your craftsmanship is top notch and your weathering was perfect. :)

Awesome build!!! I'm working on a Bo Katan for my sister and this is going to help a ton. Looking forward to seeing the pics of your first troop as well...

That's great! Please don't hesitate to ask if you have questions. I wasn't able to make it to the troop this weekend (sick kiddo), but I will be sure to post pics when I finally do troop.

Hey all! It's been a while. I finally got to troop as Bo Katan on SWRD at a local library. I had so much fun! Here are a few pictures:

I also joined some of my Merc buddies for a real fun photo shoot in the woods.

There is a real learning curve when it comes to learning to walk and pose in armor, but I am sure I will get the hang of it. Trooping is as much fun, if not more fun than I thought it would be. Although I am excited to troop again, I'd first like to make some upgrades to the costume to make it more wearable. Stay tuned!

This is amazing! I'll definitely be using your thread as a reference, as I hope to do my own Bo build! Great job!!!

Celebration Anaheim was AWESOME!!! It was great to finally meet some of you in real life!

I almost didn't troop as my flight suit pants needed a MAJOR overhaul. I was up until 2:30 AM the night before we were scheduled to drive out cutting, pining and sewing. I almost threw in the towel and left my kit at home. But my very kind husband encouraged me not to quit and made room for my sewing machine and accessories in the truck so I could finish it on the road. I seam ripped velcro during the drive and stayed up late every night (after the kids went to bed) test fitting the suit and sewing on velcro in the appropriate places. I was so tired from the convention and staying up late that I almost ran out of gas. Not only did I still need to weather my suit, but I realized I had lost the ear cap cover (magnetic) to my range finder stalk. Once again my husband urged me on. We made a ear cap cover out of foam (which I painted to match) and I finished weathering the suit. I then got a few hours of much needed sleep, got suited up and headed out to the convention. I'm so glad that he encouraged me to finish!
