Bo Katan A little side project for a friend...Bo Katan

I'm glad you guys approve of it, thanks.
Well I guess the next step is to get an introductory run started for those few who are interested in acquiring one of these for their Bo-Katan or Night Owl builds. I'll try to post a run thread in the Cargo Hold later this morning.
Thanks,
Lorenzo

Amazing work on this and thanks for sharing progress photos along the way; a huge inspiration for aspiring builders. Any thoughts of a 2nd helmet run?

Just received my pack, and if I could, I would hug you Cruzer!! It is superb work and I look forward to trooping with it soon. Thanks again :D

Ok, here are some better pics of it mostly assembled. With the additional hardware (hanger bolts, washers, wing nuts, u hooks), it brought the weight up to exactly 4 lbs. I used size 10-24 hanger bolts to make the cones removable for storage and transport. I went a tad larger for the removable thrusters and used 1/4-20 size hanger bolts for more stability since I figured they're likely to see a little more bumping when trooping. I also used large metal fender washers on all of the attachment parts for strength. The clean-up is minimal. I haven't done any clean-up on the main body other than trimming away the flashing when I initially pulled it out of the mold. I did take a few minutes to quickly sand flat the base areas of the resin parts, as well as took some 320 grit sandpaper to the edges to clean them up a little. Other than that, this thing is ready to be lightly scuffed with some 320 grit and it's ready for paint. (y)
