Other Bounty Hunter Hasbro Clone visor help?

Working on doing what everybody else does with a $20 2010 Clone Trooper helmet they got off of ebay: Convert it! Anyway, I was going to use window tint on the helmet's original visor to make it darker, but the thing is horribly scratched from prior use. There's no point in tinting it since I can't see out of it now. I need a transparent black plastic or tintable plastic that will work. I'll buy what I must, but I don't want to spend too much. I was thinking on maybe using computer grafix film, or that stuff they use as dollhouse windows. But again, I'm open to anything that works. Thank you.(y)
