    Dec 23, 2013, 8:46 AM - It has begun...DW jetpack #1

I have the next 3 weeks off for vacation and for once I'm ahead on my orders or waiting for parts to complete orders. So this project's time has come. According to the various dimensions from Fett packs and the best I can figure out from reference pics, I'm estimating the body of this jetpack to be approximately 16" wide. In comparison, my Bo-Katan jetpack is 13.375" wide. So as of right now everything is being scaled to about 20% larger. I'd like to have it done by the end of my vacation, but we'll just have to see...

What's the difference between a death watch vs a standard jetpack?

As much as I wish I could show you some contradictory information regarding that, I promised I wouldn't. I'm sorry. :/

ha! I hear ya man, it looks great....as all your stuff does. It does make more sense that they would be bigger, It will be nice to have an actual good pack that exists. Most i have seen leave alot to be desired.

That's awesome! Was going to scratch build my jp (rotj) and was thinking if using mdf as well. Seeing how you've done yours makes it look like the way to go. Was also hoping to make a master for casting for the Aussie fetts if it passes muster. Keep up the good work!

Yea, even if my info is incorrect, I think it'd still be nice to have two different sizes since we're all different body sizes in real life
