Interest in HIC Complete Frontal Cast

generally interested in !

A casting of the side panels would be nice, too !

Some people got ripped from a guy at the RPF with a side-panel run and never received their parts, so there´s a market, believe me... :D

Been checking this thread daily...Also very interested in a full frontal cast. Also interested in a cast of Han from the waist up, if that would be easier.

Rubber? Might work, so count me interested depending on price... I have the face, but if you can do it I wont have to make my own.

Right now i have his head cast. Im working with alumilite to get a 5 gallon pail of their P2 resin.

Its in a barrell in the top back and they are reluctant to open it up for me, at least atm.

Im still looking at the best way to do this. and im still thinking rubber is the way to go. My only concern is going to be the hands. everything else is no big deal.

I do agree though theres going to be 200 in just rubber to pull one.

I really do think its doable though. I did the head pull mainly to make sure the platinum silicone would cure against the firberglass and paint.

Realistically your looking at 300-500 bucks shipped for one of these full castings.

Hands and face 150 ish. Upper torso probably 200-350.

Its my next project after the webley, which had to be done now as opposed to later. Which is well underway.

Ill pull a face in rubber this week and post some pics.

On a side note, if you take a rubber casting, vac pull the boxes for the sides, and put this all on the pink insulation styrofoam you could make a HAC that weighed about 25 lbs to carry in parades, 4 stormtroopers carrying it = no problem:)

One thing though, i never take a penny or make a list until im ready to deliver. That may be the only redeeming quality i have:)

Well, I'm new to the forum. After deciding that I wanted to make my own HIC and searching around the internet, I came upon the build by azheat and was astonished at what can be done in your own house. I was planning on utilizing a similar setup, but I am intrigued by how this project of yours may come out.

Having a full accurate frontal might be a good option. And I take it rolling it for shipping wouldn't damage it while in transit?

Sorry if that is a noob question.

This was moved here. It is very old. But I am doing a run now, should be the cleanest most acurate to date. Details in the cargo hold.

Hi I posted awhile back when you were gauging interest and was away for awhile and missed that you started making them. I still cant post in the CH but I wanted to let you know I'm very interested in a full frontal cast. I'm not ready to buy immediately but absolutely will be in the next few weeks. I've wanted one of these for awhile to go next to my Boba mannequin. Thanks for offering these, they look fantastic!

I'm pretty new to the site and can't post in the Cargo Hold yet. From what I gather, you are done making HIC molds right now? I'm wondering if there is a time frame when you might start making them again? And is it just easiest to keep checking the forums? Thanks in advance. I'm wanting the HIC pieces. Can pay ASAP.

Umm... I'm going to totally prove myself to be the newb, but what's an HIC?
I thought the exact same thing. I did a google search of acronyms and found a huge list, but nothing that had to do with casting or hobbies. The best was the Horseradish Information Council.

Sorry for the thread resurrection.

I am VERY interested in a set of the side panels when you get ready to do the run. For everyone else, I received Stormrider's rubber full frontal HIC about two months ago and his work is unbelievable!!! I have been extremely pleased with how he handles the communication. I do agree with a previous poster that there is a market for the side panels. I have seen some pretty crummy ones being offered at a huge cost. The wonderful result of supply and demand I guess... Have a Happy and Safe Holiday Season Everyone!!!!!

I am looking for a front panel HIC. Able to pay now.
