Anakin was right on everything. I don't have anything out of the box. DarthChromer does great work, he is doing fronts now I believe, similar to mine. He reconditioned one, took paint off, cleaned up some tool marks, the same as I did. I cant say anything bad about his casts, as I haven't seen one in person. I hear they are great. I hear mine are great too
Location and wait time are the main things when deciding on the front casts. Outside of DarthC and Me, I have heard horror stories about peoples casts. There is a guy on THERPF selling copies of a second rate han parts casting I sold him. I have had to help people rebuild them and sent hands and feet to help them out, after getting scammed. So my advice is buy a DarthChromer or my front, or someone else that is reputable and can show pictures of their originals, so you don't buy a terrible reproduction. A han pieces should cost 300-400 shipped. A full front 400-500 shipped. I used to do cold cast like fronts, already silver ready for display, but no longer do.
By the way, I have no reason to tout DarthChromer, I have never met him, I have never talked to him, but I know he does good work, is reputable, and my goal is to make sure people get the best items they can for their hard earned money.
DarthC also does amazing side panels and greebles, so that's where to go on that. I have a Volvo panel. I just haven't made the molds for it yet. I doubt I will be able to do the greebles as well as Darth without significant work, so I have stayed away from it.
So to sum this up:
You can do a HIC parts (just the han parts) for 300 ish, and make your own box out of mdf, for another 40 if you have cutting tools. 80 if you take it to a sign shop. The side panels without lights (the Illulsive Concepts HIC didn't have lights, and the panels were TERRIBLE) can be gotten for 100-200. So for around 600-800 you can build a box that will impress 95% of people.
I hope that helps.
