HIc side panel question

Hi all, here is a question I can't find an answer to.

In the first picture of the left side of HIC ( if your facing him from the front) The panel is lit up green just like the right side hero panel. No other lights visible. There also seems to be a metal handle just like the hero panel. Although you can't see all of the green lit square , there seems to be no greeblies present. The panel is also silver

In this next pic there is no green light and there you can see greeblies. If you look at the position of them, you should have been able to see them in the first pic. The panel in pic 2 is black

This is also another pic that shows the greeblies in that panel. The panel here is black

So the questions are

1. does the panel light up green like the hero panel?
2. Are there greeblies when it's lit up green?
3. Should I not light the panel and just put the greeblies like the other pics?
4. Are all the panels black or is the top one silver and it just looks black due to lighting?

I just want it to be as close as possible. Thanks for the look and the help.

There is not 100% consensus on this. It appears that the panels may have been removable and changed around during filming or there may have been two different HICs used during production. To answer your questions
#1 it does light up green
#2 there are fewer greeblies on that panel than the corresponding lighted panel on the other side
#3 I say do what you like. Match the pics you like the best and go with it. There isn't a right and wrong on it.
#4 We know the panels were black as they came out of the car. Several reference pics show them black, but in a couple of pics they appear silver which leads me to believe there may have been two different HICs with one having at least one silver panel and possibly all of them silver.

Again I say do what you think looks best. I am going to make that panel light up on mine and put greeblies on it.

Thanks for the response. Sounds like I will probably do greeblies with a light. Kind of best of both worlds. lol Thanks again for the help.

No problem. I looked at a ton of pics and finally decided to do that same thing. It gives a little more visual appeal to it in my opinion.

Filmmakers will often flip shots on order to make them look better. This leads to many movie mistakes, such as the infamous black eye jump in Iron Man 3. Looking at the photos, I think there is a possibility that the image may have been flipped.
Just my opinion though

(Sorry didn't realise posts can't be edited) The reason I think its flipped is because of the different items on the panels. For example in the carbonite chamber shot, the panel has shiny or lustrous pieces, whereas in the light up shot, there is nothing in these lustrous areas that could reflect light like in the carbonite shot. Another explanation is that its a different prop, as there may have been one or two spares in case the original got broken. Hope this helps!!
