I poured a proper frontal today, ill demold it this afternoon, and take pictures of it laying on my pool table for reference.

Im trying to get the thicknesses right, so they are rigid, but still foldable/rollable.

Re: Han In Carbonite: In the rubber

Im sooo ready too chris, trust me

The first came out perfect, the second, I didnt wet out. I tried it different. I tried to slow pour it to make it thicker, and it ended up with some air entrapment, mostly on undercuts, but its not perfect.

Im going to head over and reinforce the sleeve today, so I can bring it home. Demolding cracked it a bit. Lots of surface tension because of the size of this thing. Ill pour one a day while its at the shop this week, and next week, ill try to get pouring 2 a day.

Re: Han In Carbonite: In the rubber

Im going to start a new thread for the official list. I will be pulling them over the next week. I have one ready to ship, and one to ship on a trade I did.

I should be able to do one a day, possibly two.

Gunmetal will be more ($25 ish), and I cant stress this part enough. If your going to build a full prop dont buy gunmetal. You wont be able to match the color, and its harder to paint. You want flat black.

That being said. Ill create another post right now with details. This thread was for the project andt he project is done. I want to get a cleaner, more easily followed thread going.

    Thanks for following.

Ive found a Pic that might be interesting, found in an old Lucasfilm-mag. The most interesting thing for me is the "box"-form of the HIC, that it is not angled:

The pic was made in the 90ies in the Lucasfilm archive:

Could you tell me the total cost of one of these badboys to be bought and shipped to Manchester, England? (Total in Pound Sterling would be nice but I can convert from USD just as easily) I may have to put my new pc on hold to get this first!

For a black one, shipped is about 450 USD. For a silver one now is about 500 usd. Which looks to be about 300 british pounds. Theres another thread with the pricing information in this same forum

They are. Australia is about 80 usd more in shipping.

Just need to know which version, and make sure your paypal is verified and the shipping address is verified.

Re: Han In Carbonite: In the rubber

I just wanted to check in and see if you still had any of these left to sell and what the cost would be, to say that the work and time that you put into your project really paid off. Nice work.
