    Woodmans' Comm. Gree build thread

I have updated everything possible on my Fett so I have been able to start on my next project, Ep. III Comm. Gree. I have been gathering parts for almost a year now and have everything but the undersuit and boots which I will figure out later. I am working on losing some more weight before I put out the bucks for a vertical ribbed one.

I painted the helmet a while back and have started at the logical place from the ground up. Mojofett is making me some aluminum boot strap discs, I dont see any grees with them they are plain to see in freeze frame, he is also making me an accurate antenna for the radio pack.
Well here are some pics of my stuff and some WIP shots of the spoons.
Here's a list of my parts:

Helmet-Armor Depot Florida from ebay, nice helmet, resin casting
    aluminum aerators from EVO3
    visor from Fenixprops
armor from Armor Depot Florida except OSCS thighs and shins short set
    belt from Steelblitz
compad, elbow, knee and shoulder straps from Steelblitz
Thermal Dets and brackets from Steelblitz
    Blaster by Greedo
    Radio pack from SEEKER
    all leather gloves

Lookin good. Gree is a tough build, but I know you can do it. I built my friend's 41st elite and was started on my set, but I didn't like how it was fitting me. I am going to get another armor kit soon. If you need any tips just say the word.

Thanks, I was going to build a shocktrooper at first but Gree just seemed to call me. He has a look similar to Fett with all weathering and offered much more of an interesting project to me. I sure do have alot of work ahead!

did some work on the right calf and spoon. here are some pics of me gluing the backup strips and the shin in a nifty clamp I made. I got the idea fro "The Woodchuck" if you dont know him me's an older fella on CTN that makes the most awesome blasters and other stuff from of course wood anyway you lay the shin or thigh or forearm on some poster board and trace along the contour then
cut the line then transfer it to a strip of wood , cut the contour so you end up with 2 boards that match the shape of the 2 pieces you need to clamp together and you can use 2 C-clamps to clamp the full length of the seam.
also some pics of the lock tab set-up to hold the spoons in, credit goes to KW designs at OSCS,
    and the seam before filler.
