WIP TE2 Stormtrooper

HeadlessHunter

Well-Known Hunter
Well along with my forever 'in progress' ESB Boba Fett I've been working on this, a few of you may remember a short while ago I was robbed, my home was broken into and a lot of my most prized possessions were either stolen or destroyed beyond use, the most heart breaking for me was the theft on my TE ANH suit which was built and proudly displayed on a mannequin, not a trace was left of the suit apart from the belt which I hadn't finished, anyway I recently got a hold of a TE2 suit from an RPF member and here it is as of now, the helmet is complete, and most of the upper armour is glued/snapped into position here you see me wearing it (minus shoulder bells) just have to assemble the legs and then were good to go, (y)

How does one get their hands on TE armor? Am I correct in the assumption that the maker is no longer producing them and you just have to find them where you can?

EDIT: Whoops, the post before mine explains it, took so long to type this one, somebody got to it before me.

As I said I bought this a little while ago on the RPF it was for sale in the member buy/sell section, Gav heres a quick pic for you sorry about the poor quality, it shows the differences between the left and right forearm pieces once assembled, when compared to the AP kit, the AP kit has BOTH right hand pieces I believe(y) You can see the strip of styrene I have fixed over the join, none of my parts overlap as I think this is how the originals were done

Nice one Joe...
I was gonna go for the 'butt' method anyways... ;)

So did the 'original' armour have the odd forearms? strange that they would do that with the manufacturing :confused

Yeah as far as I know the originals had odd arms and legs too, the TE stuff I think (I'm sure someone will correct me) is taken from cleaned up ROTJ armour and the helmet from an ANH helmet
