    Hey guys,

i am building a Clone Commander Neyo since a few weeks and wanna let you know about my building steps. Feel free to comment - cheers!

Here is the Sideshow figure of Neyo – the costume which I am building should look like it:

Here is the helmet with which i started. Got it cheap on ebay - it´s made of GFK:

Here after cutting, sanding and painting it in matt white + installing the mic tips:

got the decals of fenix props on ebay:

finished helmet with decal, visor and weathering:

After that I decided to go on and bought on ebay a clone armor kit – made of GFK:

    First fitting test:

Had much work with it with fitting, cutting, glueing and sanding the stuff. But the quality is good.
THE KW armor was on that point to much money for me… Now after much work I would do it today on the easier way and would buy all of Kewin Weir…

bought the Hasbo DC-15L – happy with it cause its lightweight – the sound is funny too:

    will be weathered soon too

    bulding step:

bought this shoes for 17€ on ebay:

    built of the show discs:

and made this of it with synthetic leather:

ordered the missing parts for my Neyo of KW Desings (imperialsurplus) and am very happy with it – great stuff:

    some building steps of it:

    these are made of foam

    cutted belt parts:

    belt parts after assembling them:

    cutted and glued the codpiece:

    and backone:

glued knee pavior-pads in the shoulder amor:

my dressmaker made a good work with the neckseal – only 20 Euro J great stuff – softparts are done:

some stuff for the backarmor / here its made of doorstoppers:

and this are solder contact boards:

plastic cigarette boxes for the radios at the back armor – needle pins will be the antennas

    not still finished…

I would strongly recommend a visit over to the 501st Clone site. There are a few things you'll need some help with..!

A couple of things that jump out to me are:

    1. The bucket has too much of an "underbite" and missing some details:

    501st Legion: Vader's Fist

In addition, the tube stripes you have are too long, and you're missing the flat vertical middle chin detail and the triangular cutout under the visor. I'd also look at the way you've painted the ears. I'm not 100% sure the black goes on the vertical tubes, but I know it needs to border the ear.

    2. The boots are missing a detail piece up front, the side soles should be primer grey and not white, and the strap disc is too pronounced:

just checked your links. The showed helmet in the CRL of the 501st isn´t right. The Dark blue vertical hash marks on each side of the helmet cheek are as shown black - the clones have blue stripes (look for this at the written text in the CRL) - when i bought the helmet i got the black short stripes too and checked before stiching them on the helmet first in our 501st forum if they are right. Clone members told me that they are false and i bought the right ones for clones.
There are some helmets for a Neyo around. All are looking different. If you are searching figures of Neyo on the net. You will see that the Neyo helmets all look diffrent. I prefer to look at the sideshow figure.and oriantate to it cause that one looks great and mostly movie accurate.

To the shoes i don´t know what you mean what is missing. They aren´t still finished.

    Cheers Eric
