Hi all,
last year I build one of Dex very fantastic Y-Wing Helmets and I am interessted for the other ones to.A RPF member named Fierek made a very nice A and B-Wing Pepakura file for me and here are my first own vacfoam A-Wing helmet.After 2 week of rondo,bondo,sanding etc. I use the ready helmet directly for vacfoam.Here are the first pictures

Next step are build the detail parts and I am working on a B-Wing Helmet to.

Helmet is cut out from the plastic sheet and ready to build and paint.

Small update! I scratchbuild the detail parts and put them on the helmet for testing.Next I make the padding before I paint the helmet.

Helmet is near finished.For show of I use a WW II Navy deck helmet at the moment.

Looks great! Did you custom make the leather pads around the ears?

Thank you! Yes,I use a soft rubber tubing and sewn around it with leather like in style of my Y-Wing helmet.

Man that is cool! I love the helmet. Been thinking of doing a set of x-Wing helmets.
