I have a Tusken as one of my other costumes and yours looks great.
However, your right the robes do need some dirt on them. Also is that a Godzilla version lid your wearing or is it something else?
As for the eyes, I'd use mesh personally. It lets the air in so it can circulate around your lid and with lenses they become fogged up very quickly.

Looks great!!! might I suggest a belt, though; the robes look a bit baggy...

i do nylon inside my eyes and mouth... blurs vision a bit, but you can't see in at all. i just cut up some stockings and glued the material in.
i think it could also do with a belt / sash / something 'round the waist. not sure if they all have that, but most do.
overall it's looking awesome! makes me want to get out and troop in mine again!
