Yes, should complete the mould this week. The cowl template is now cut, vinyl material sourced and lens material purchased.

Great work! I have always loved the snowtrooper armor! I can't wait to see the completed costume. I'll have to check your site more often for updates on your progress. As always your excellent work amazes me!

I cut the front and rear cowl templates last night and did a test fitting. Pictures just show the front cowl in position.

Here's the WIP shots bobamaker: Snowtrooper Build

That's great! I've always loved your step by steps... truly inspirational

Mould is finished and the first copy is pulled. It's trimmed and painted with "non yellowing" white Enamel Paint. I then used a cutting compound on the surface to get it incredibly smooth. It now looks and feels just like ABS plastic. I've also fitted the cowl and lenses. I now need to put some padding on the inside and fit a chin strap... oh, and weather it..!

Awesome as usual....but you cant really expect anything less from you though.

Shoulder sculpt finished and ready to mould, I will upload pics soon. Starting the shoulders bell sculpts this week. I would like all the armour sculpted and moulded before the end of December... so the answer is YES.

I must say, if this is offered as a complete or even partial armor set, put me down top of the list. I'm all in. I just finished my Fett (well, finished enough to wear) and I'm itching to start the next project. OK, I will be selling helmets very soon, I'm just finalising the best way to attach the cowl and the most effective padding for the inside then they're ready to go. Knees are sculpted and I will be moulding them in the next couple of days. I'm about to start sculpting the hand armour, this should be pretty quick as it will be done in wet clay which is a very fast way to work.

Not to worry, the knee sculpts are now complete, I'm really pleased with the way they turned out. These are now ready to mould. I will update my website with the build process very soon.

The knees look 110% on the money. Just went to your site and I love the way you built up the helmet sculpt. Very simple. The skateboard helmet you used is perfect too, I have been using a M1 Helmet Liner as a base for my Galactic Marine helmet and now I want to switch to the skaters helmet you are using

This skater/BMX helmet is excellent because it's made of a MATT plastic that can be sanded, cut and painted very easily.

• HELMET 2 = Painted white and has the cowl and lenses cut and ready to fit.
• HELMET 3 = In grey primer, Lenses and Cowl cut.

I just need to work out the price for an unfinished kit, a painted kit and a fully painted and weathered helmet.

Though one thing I did notice today when watching ESB (though Im sure you looked at heaps of reference mateiral so I may be wrong) the nose on the real ones seems to stick out quit far almst like the stormtroopers as if it was cut off at the teeth, and the cowl sort of hangs down from the point of the nose, if that makes sense,

How ever once again another great sculpt from you , knees look great , Imlooking forward to seeing you do the shoulders

Yes , I understand your point. But once the helmet is worn, the bottom of the cowl does touch your chest which lifts it to look like the ESB screen caps. I've also sourced a thicker vinyl now which holds it shape a lot better.

I've now finished sculpting this item. It's made from polyurethane resin with an "ALUMINIUM COLDCAST" surface.

That helmet is amazing! I'm looking to replace my cowl. Got ahold of MC and they're back-ordered for the material for a month, but I can wait.

I recently finished my 'doopydoos' E-11 blaster. What a great kit, very little cleanup needed and great detail. This finished blaster is for display on my Snowtrooper mannequin (when finished). Here are some "close up" pics showing the weathering.

Just approved my Snowie with one of the first bobamaker helmets! I received a lot of compliments for the great lid
