Senate Commando!

Hey guys,

I modelled the helmets for the Senate Commandos this morning. They appear in The Clone Wars episode, "Cloak of Darkness".

There are two types that we saw in that episode, the open face Captain Argyus helmet and the Closed/visor helmet.

I don't have enough time now but I plan to build one of these soon using the card/fibreglass method. These models will be unfolded the same way I usually do to make 2D templates to build them from.

Doesn't it just. LOL! I've finished unfolding the templates now. I've posted a pic over at my blog (link in my sig), I hope to get some time soon to build the Argyus lid. I like that one.

I think both are great though and still very "Mando" looking.

Great looking armour, the Captain Argyus lid is very Spartan looking, we wont be seeing him again will we lol

Hey Heatshock, you not got Sky? It shows every Saturday on Sky Premier at 5.30pm. I record every episode on Sky Plus so I can watch them again until it comes out on DVD.

Absolutely! Though I don't know when. I'm a little busy with various projects and commissions now so it's just a matter of finding some time here and there to do it.

Their armor is exactly the same as the Clone Troopers so it'll be good to have it done. The only difference is the larger soulder bell and the helmet. Oh, and the colour of course. LOL!

These are the first pics I've got of this lid being built. They're from a friend of mine who's building it rigt now.

This is of the card build, no fibreglass or anything else has been used at this time.

Yeah, Tim makes some great pep helmets!! I can't wait to see how they turn out. He's also building my RC, Clone(EpIII), and TCW Clone lids

The armor will get done although it's a way off. Just too busy to do everything I want to do right now.

What method do you use to make armor? I want to buy/ make some myself. Preferably make some myself because I love to do stuff like this!
