Seeker's 41st Elite Corps Clone Trooper Armor

Well after years and years of studying clone armor, I'm finally getting into to swing of things. I decided to go with the 41st Elite Corps color scheme. Here's a sneak preview of that my armor will look like.

I also repainted a Kotobokiya 501st clone trooper figure and made the radio back pack. I will use this for reference. I studied the paint job on this clone for months. I think it's pretty accurate. If anyone knows anything I'm missing please let me know.

Very nice!

If you plan on being in the helmet for a long period fo time I would recomvend being able to swap the lense with a black mesh. It greatly increases the ventalation in what is basicaly a no ventalation helmet.

I've never even noticed that color scheme in the movie before! I guess I thought they were all white, because it's so subtle. Keep us posted dude, I know you've been looking forward to this project since the movie came out.

thanks for the tip. I'm planning to add some type of breathing tube in my face plate. But not really sure yet.

i really do want to get a clone suit at some point. i haven't really researched them much, so i wasn't familiar with this paint scheme. i really like it!

Question: ON the ref picture it looks like the inner cheek are is painted grey. Are you gonna pain the inner cheek area grey on your bucket as well or just leaving it as is?

I checked the figure and there is no line but we all know how they pay attention to details. There is the grey on his belt and the ab plate. The only mention of a specific unit in the SW databank is "He led the 212th Attack Battalion, and was comfortable with leading large units and commanding small attack teams both." under the expanded univers tab.
I know in the U.S. Army, members from one unit can be assigned to another depending on the job at hand.

There was a small group of the 41st Elite corps commanded by Cody in Utapau

Ohh and Cody's gray is more of purpleish gray. It's not the same as the 41st

A little update. I just need my aluminum parts to come in. That will be the knobs and the antenna. The bar will be an aluminum 1/8 thick rod.

High end rezin. its some type of resin with plastic involved.

I'm not doing the casting myself. I'm having someone do it for me.

Kinda a stupid question, but who makes the Clone Buckets? Great paint schemes by the way! Would love to start a clone suit but unsure who makes the most accurate suit? Clone Six? Any advice welcomed....

I tried on a MR. Clone helmet, and it fit me, it really only fit me, and Andy.

these quality helmets (like Seeker's) are great, I would love to find out who makes them asa well.

A little update I started messing around and see if I could make some biceps and shoulders. I noticed that the Episode II clone has bigger shoulders pads then Episode III. So went with the smaller EPIII shoulders.
I had to go in there and photshop the rest of the bicep. My model, I mean my wife's t-shirt got on the way. :D

I also made the ab piece from scratch which goes around the whole back out of sintra. Drilled the ab holes. I cut my belt boxes and glued them to the belt by using WELDER Contact Adhesive. Very strong stuff. I'm still going to add pins to make it stronger. I also reworked the C6 codpiece by reshaping the lines in the end of the tip. This cod is a little to big for me, so I cut alot it from the top which is good, because my belly and cod are separted. These are just try out pics. There not permanently finished yet.

I like how you set up the central piece of sintra on the ab plate to act like a guide or track for the OSCS belt, awsome! Thanks for posting those pics of the belt box cutting too, I need to run mine down to my friends wood shop! You better get it done by CIV! J/K

Remember to use a fine tooth circular Saw blade so you do don't rip it to shreds Commander V.
