Got this kit the other day and with in 24hrs I had it to this stage I think I may leave it in this state,
really great helmet and not a bad wait time considering that it was only a year ago that this helmet was first uncovered to the masses

Painted, (as much as Id like to say other wise) I found a good trick is to paint the back half a bit greener as the real helmets seem to have 2 different colours for the front and back ,
It's a great helmet, if a little thin/flimsy. But I don't have the original to compare so i can't say much to that. Mine will be a display piece anyway. In fact I just finished the Humbrol 14 tube stripes!
