Revan Mask help

I am making a Darth Revan costume for halloween. For the mask, my only speedbump is what to use for the lens. I do not know where to look or what to look for. Essentially I need a black wide strip that can be seen through the inside and appear black on the outside. This is one of my first armor/mask making projects so I apologize for my lack of experience.


Is my best option just finding some sunglasses and ripping them apart or can you buy this material somewhere?
